Day care services are available at Revamp hospital. Day care services are specialized services for clients who require limited institutional care and admission; especially in cases where clients have made partial progress and shown improvement in their over-all recovery.

With stable clinical state, discharged from therapy centre and rehabilitation units as well as the follow up clients from the out clients department, a multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatric Social Workers, Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Vocational trainers take part in therapy of the day care clients. The clients are trained in Social and Vocational skills. A structured working programme for clients consisting of individual and group sessions attending the daycare centre has been developed. Various activities are planned and implemented depending on patient’s functional status and aptitude during such sessions. Categories of trainings offered in the Day Care facility include- activity scheduling, Vocational Skills training among others. At present vocational training activities include Tailoring, Art and Craft, Horticulture, candle making, Screen Printing, Basic Computer training program and Home care Training etc. Placement options are also made available in indicated cases.
